Photography is a way for me to be present. To be intensely engaged with the world around me. To connect with strangers with whom, without a camera, I would have quickly passed. Photography is not sitting in front of a computer, manipulating images, but rather, a way to immerse myself in life. My process is a seeing with empathy, curiosity, and appreciation. |
